Voice Change Worksheet on Present Perfect Tense

The structure of an active voice sentence based on present perfect tense is as follow-

Subject + has/have + past participle form of verb + object + remaining.

  And in passive voice, the structure of the sentence is as follow-
Object of the sentence of active voice + has/have according to the subject + been + past participle form of the main verb + subject of the sentence of active voice + remaining...

        To understand the matter properly, let's take an easy example-
Sentence of active voice:            I have eaten my dinner.
Sentence of passive voice        My dinner has been eaten (by me).[Note: There is no need to write 'by me' as your dinner should be eaten only be you]


        If you have understood it, let's practice some examples that we have to change to passive.

1. I have seen him.
2. I have eaten the pie.
3. She has solved the problem.
4. Tom has written this letter.
5. She has posted the letter.
6. My friend has called me.
7. Someone has sent me a mysterious box.
8. The man has sold his favorite book.
9. I have broken the glass yesterday.
10. He has demonstrated a projection last hour.

Answers of the above questions -

1. He has been seen by me.
2. The pie has been written by me.
3. The problem has been solved by her.
4. This letter has been written by Tom.
5. The letter has been posted by her.
6. I have been called by my friend.
7. A mysterious box has been sent to me by someone. / I have been sent a mysterious box by someone.
8. His favorite book has been sold by the man.
9. The glass has been broken by me yesterday.
10. A projection has been demonstrated by him last hour.
